Roy F. Harmon III has a long career in employee benefits litigation, having represented third party administrators and insurance companies in transactional and claims administration matters. Having begun his career as a tax attorney, he has served as counsel in Department of Labor and Internal Revenue Service audits and investigations. In addition, he has litigated plan disputes before state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate level. His practice now includes representation of employers and participants in disputes with claims adminstrators, agents and brokers, health care providers and insurance carriers.
Sidney L. Major, Jr. served as general counsel for one of the largest claims administrators in the Southeast before joining the firm. In that capacity, he reviewed regulatory compliance for both fully insured and self-funded plan operations, oversaw litigation case management, negotiated provider network contracts and provided legal and regulatory counsel regarding claims and reimbursement disputes. His practice includes the representation of employers in litigation concerning plan reimbursement and fiduciary matters.
